The philosophy behind the Nihola bike is simple. Lightweight materials and a rigid frame design help turn your energy into motion – just ask any racing cyclist. We put this principle to work in a load-carrier.

The Nihola is the lightest three-wheeled transport cycle on the Danish market. Tests by the Danish Bicycle Union and the Dagbladet Politikken newspaper demonstrated that the bike has fine driving properties and high stability. Stability means security, especially when you are transporting children.

The key to the Nihola design is its round transport box, which is an integral part of the frame. The round shape has several advantages: firstly, it adds strength, thus reducing the amount of materials needed, which reduces the overall weight. The round shape also allows the two front wheels to turn around it. This enables a better turning diameter than with a square transport box.

Stability also comes from the Nihola’slow centre of gravity, as the floor of the transport box is below the centre of the front wheels.

The low weight and the fine driving properties make Nihola bikes a great alternative to the two-wheeled bicycle and the car.
