Rain cover for the Nihola Cigar
We have developed a new rain cover for the Nihola Cigar model. It is made of a robust and tear-proof material that is used on trucks. The pieces are sealed together with a special machine to make it leak-proof.
Tow bar bike rack
Developed together with the world leader in aluminium vehicle transport systems, this light metal rack weighs only a third as much as steel but allows you to carry up to 80 kg. The effect on your car’s fuel consumption is minimal.
Mountain-Drive by Schlumpf Innovations
The Mountain-Drive gear system helps you conquer the steepest hills by doubling your low gears. There is no gear overlapping – the new gears are all lower than the lowest gear on your bike – and you get a wider range than even on a 24-speed bike with derailleur.
Sattellift saddle adjuster
The Sattellift saddle height adjuster lets you change the height of the saddle at the push of a lever on the handle bar, even while riding.
The device works with a gas pressure cylinder. The rider uses his or her own weight to adjust the height. The height can be infinitely varied.
We recommend the Sattellift when several different persons use the Nihola Bike.
Puncture protection tyres by Schwalbe, Ralf Bohle
Don’t let the fear of punctures spoil your ride. With Schwalbe Smart Guard® tyres you will never have to push your bike home again. The highly flexible 5mm thick rubber protection belt keeps glass, shards and thorns from penetrating the air chamber.
Design lighting package
The Nihola’s front mudguards feature lamp brackets for extra lights. We recommend you get some. The additional lights mark the width of the bike and increase your safety, especially in the dark winter months. The lamps are battery-powered and easy to attach and removed.
Abus loop cable
All Nihola
models are fitted with a high quality frame lock. In order to secure your bike
you need a cable lock. We recommend the following: Abus loop cable Cobra 10/200
(10 mm diameter and 200 cm length).
Dynamo lights for all Nihola models
Lighting systems are obligatory for bikes in Germany so all the Nihola bikes that are delivered in Germany are equipped with a set of lights. And almost all models can be retrofitted. We have taken into account the new German traffic regulations (from 01.01.2005) that specify a dynamo-generated rear light with stand-light function.
All models with SRAM hub gears (5 or 7 speed) can be retrofitted. The upgrade set includes the following components:
- SRAM - Spectrolux V6 dynamo
- Hella - Micro-FF headlamps
- Busch & Müller D-Toplight Plus rear light (LED technology with overvoltage protection and parking light function)
All Nihola-specific assembly parts are included in the packet.
A bottle dynamo is available for all models with cantilever brakes
